El Concilio, an affiliate of UnidosUS, is a non-profit community based organization offering a variety of services across eight departments to high-risk youth, infants, families, and adults representing, primarily, the Hispanic population of the Central Valley.

Every year, El Concilio impacts the lives of over 25,000 families from all cultural backgrounds throughout California’s Central Valley – from expectant mothers to seniors, immigrants to job seekers, and preschoolers to families in need – making it possible for them to achieve their dreams.

IT ALL BEGAN WITH A COMMITMENT THAT CONTINUES TO THIS DAY.

El Concilio is the largest Latino-based, non-profit agency in California’s Central Valley and premier social services provider to the region’s underserved, working low-income and at-risk Central Valley communities.

Founded in 1968 as one of the nation’s first civil rights institutions for migrant workers, El Concilio’s mission has been consistent with the purpose of “empowering diverse communities in California’s Central Valley.”

A nationally-recognized leader for five decades, El Concilio has grown to become the Central Valley’s heart and home for those wishing to achieve a better life serving over 75,000 individuals annually across an eleven-site network that includes nine preschools, three community centers, two immigration centers, our senior services center, job readiness centers, family wellness and our behavioral health center. In keeping with our founding mission services are provided to all who enter our doors.
