El Concilio understands that whether you are a senior, a caregiver to a senior or family member, it is important to keep your independence and have the opportunity to maintain a better quality of life for yourself.

Our Senior & Caregiver Legal Services Center provides assistance and referrals to low income seniors, their caregivers and disabled individuals on issues that affect independent living, choice and financial security. Through community outreach and education, the department’s goal is to increase awareness and have seniors obtain the support they need.

The Sutter Center offers opportunities to socialize and learn with our Senior Congregate Luncheon at our Sutter Street location, Monday through Friday from 11:30 am – 12:30 pm plus we offer classes, other services, and referrals.

Our Senior & Caregiver Legal Services provides assistance and referrals to low income seniors, their caretakers, and disabled individuals on issues that affect independent living, choice and financial security. Under the guidance of a senior rights professional and consulting attorney, the department offers legal advice, workshops, will prep, power of attorney, restraining orders, small claims help, filling out forms, writing letters, and other issues confronting seniors, their caregivers and disabled individuals.

Our goal is to increase awareness and so you can get the support you need. We are here whether you have consumer affairs questions, health problems, cultural and language barriers, are feeling depressed, or have suffered neglect (or know of someone suffering from neglect, or abuse).
