El Concilio has an opening for a full-time program Attorney to oversee the Immigration Department Administration.  Applicant must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience handling family immigration matters i. e. adjustment of status, consular processing, U Visa, DACA and naturalization cases wanted for grant-funded immigration services program serving lower-income immigrants residing primarily in the San Joaquin and Stanislaus County areas.  In addition to casework, attorney will be working with community groups and performing community outreach and Know Your Rights presentations.  Salary negotiable and based on experience.    Will consider applicants with more experience for part-time work or on contractor bases.  To apply, send resume to


El Concilio is accepting applications for Preschool Program Site Supervisor position.  The position consists of maintaining compliance with minimum standards and standards established to assure a high-quality program.  Site Supervisor will be responsible for reports due to State and Federal of children attendance, enrollments, meal counts, progress, personnel records, health file, parents meetings, etc. Site Supervisor will be responsible for the direct line of supervision over Teachers, Assistant Teachers and is directly responsible for center’s operations and meeting standard guidelines. Site Supervisor must keep center Title 22/Title 5 compliance, maintaining materials, supplies and equipment, oversee accurate and complete maintenance of employee and children’s records.   Site Supervisor will conduct staff performance evaluations and development plans, meet and communicate directly with parents about child’s progress.  Must be flexible to attend meetings, trainings, last minute requests and provide support to Preschool Director. Fulltime, exempt, with benefits Requirements: Working knowledge of ECERS-R standards; must have a Bachelor Degree preferably in Early Childhood Education/Child Development (ECE/CD) or BA in a related field with 24 ECE/CD units & 3 semester units in State Licensing Site Supervisor/ Administrative Credential.   Bilingual preferred, starting salary $42,000 annually, vacant until filled.


El Concilio has an immediate opening for a Maternity Advocate position.  This position involves translations and advocacy for maternity patients admitted to San Joaquin County Hospital. Requirements for the position include proficient verbal and writing skills in Spanish and English; knowledge of medical terminology. Ability to communicate with co-workers, Spanish speaking mothers, and families in an effective manner; Minimum High School diploma. Must pass fingerprint clearance, DMV record, TB and be bilingual – Spanish/English.  28 hours per week, work days will be Friday, Saturday and Sunday, $16. per hour. Latino Behavioral Health and Wellness Mental Health Clinician – MSW or MFT

El Concilio has an immediate opening for an experienced, bi-lingual mental health clinician with a Masters in Social Worker or MFT to perform one-on-one counseling, facilitate groups, and provide presentations, outreach and engagement.  Position will include the maintenance of client records, managing assessments, progress notes of caseload that include one on one group observations.  Requirements: familiarity with San Joaquin County Community, agencies, and resources; Valid CDL, clean DMV record, must pass DOJ clearance, must be proficient with both Spanish and English.  Full-time position includes benefits, starting salary $52,000.  Deadline for application submission is: open until filled.


Position requires for LBH Case Manager to link the mental health consumer with El Concilio LBH, engagement services and with Stanislaus County Behavioral Services in an effort to facilitate access to and usage of all available resources for the client in an effort to support personal growth and mental health.  Awareness and improve access for those in need of services through workshops, health fairs, regular group meetings and attendance at Stanislaus County community events and faith-based organizations.  A minimum requirement for the position is Baccalaureate degree in Psychology, Sociology or other related field. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. $16 an hour, full-time with benefits.  Opened until filled.

State Preschool Teacher – All Year – $14 per hour

El Concilio is accepting applications for El Concilio State Preschool for Teacher positions.  Preschool Teacher is responsible for all components of quality instruction for El Concilio State Preschool Program.  Preschool Teacher adheres to State of California early learning requirements and conduct appropriate observations and assessments while providing individualized curriculum that meets the social, emotional, physical and cognitive needs of children.  You must be able to function with a high level of independence in the design and implementation of instructional activities and assessment. State Assistant Teacher – All Year – $12 per hour

El Concilio is accepting applications for Assistant Teachers for the State Preschool Program.  The Assistant Teacher/Aide is responsible for supporting the teaching staff in the implementation of all components of quality in the program.  The Assistant Teacher/Aide will be responsible for assisting the classroom teachers in the general supervision, management, and environment in the class. You must have High School Diploma, minimum of 6 units of ECE/CD including Core Courses; one year of experience, valid California driver’s license, recent tuberculosis clearance and pass Department of Justice and FBI fingerprint clearance.
